Love to worship? Save these dates: May 10-12, 2012 for Outloud Conference 2012 near Hartford, CT!
Outloud was a conference I launched last year to impact churches and equip worshipers in New England and the Northeast U.S. The first Outloud was an incredible success…if you missed it check out the Outloud 2011 video. The worship, speaking, and ministry times were so powerful. My church rallied to support and host the conference, and my friends Christopher Hopper, Jared Anderson, Joel Klampert, and Mike Smith came to lead worship and teach with over 20 churches represented. The sanctuary was so packed Friday night that people worshiped in the lobby. One guy told me he was driving past the church, saw all the cars going into the parking lot, and just spontaneously drove in not knowing what was going on…pretty cool. From the feedback we got, people didn’t want Outloud 2011 to end. Pretty good problem to have.
Based on last year’s success, we’re doing Outloud 2012 and extending it one full day! The conference will start Thursday May 10th @ 7:00 p.m. with a night of worship. Friday May 11th will be a full day of worship, teaching, and ministry. Saturday May 12th will feature sessions as well as training workshops, seminars, and Q&A. Church of the Living God (near Hartford, CT) will graciously be hosting the event again, and I’m hoping and praying that Outloud 2012 will be an even more powerful time than last year.
I’m excited to announce one of our speakers/worship leaders, Jesus Culture artists Bryan & Katie Torwalt all the way from California. Bryan and Katie released their first worship album earlier this year called Here on Earth…hands-down one of my recent favorites. Great original songs, great sound, and most of all powerfully anointed. Bryan and Katie are also featured on the upcoming Jesus Culture release, Awakening: Live from Chicago coming out later this month. Bryan & Katie are amazing, but what I’m most excited about is you and your church being refreshed and equipped to impact the Northeast U.S. for Christ.
Online registration for Outloud 2012 will open January 1, 2012. In the meantime we’ll be doing a few giveaways. I was only able to attend the night of worship this past year, but that experience alone has me super excited to attend the entire conference this year! I’ve got high expectation for what God will do that weekend!
